Audience with Caesar

Acts 25:11-12 reveal an interesting historical and Biblical insight:
Paul, speaking before Governor Festus, determining that he would not be safe or have a fair trial if sent for trial back to Jerusalem, said (as a Roman citizen) "I appeal to Caesar."
Porcius Festus responded: "You have appealed to Caesar, to Caesar you shall go." And that triggered a journey of transport that turned out to be rather lengthy and challenging, but it was done under the authority and protection of earth's mightiest known kingdom. In an often brutal and brutish government, a citizen was guaranteed the right of appeal to his sovereign.
SURELY, if we appeal to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER in prayer, to Our FATHER we shall go!!
How much more than Caesar will our SOVEREIGN gladly give us a welcome audience? And that under all the protection and provision of the MIGHTIEST KINGDOM that will ever be known!!

No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves. ~ Amelia Earhart
